Perugia: it’s an Etruscan city with an ancient history, many of its streets stayed unchanged over the centuries, it is famous for the beautiful paintings by Perugino, Caravaggio and Raffaello.

Historic Museum Casa del Cioccolato Perugina: they organize shows and guided tours with chocolate tasting.

Università dei Sapori: it’s an important cultural and educational food centre, a lot of cooking lessons to became a chef take place in there.

Umbria Jazz: One of the most important shows in Europe during summertime: “Umbria Jazz”, with a lot of worldwide jazz stars.

Eurochocolate: it takes place in autumn and it’s almost without parallel in Italy; during the show the chocolate chefs make chocolate sculptures.

Trasimeno Lake: a romantic place with its beautiful islands; “isola Polvese”, “isola Maggiore” and “isola Minore” each one with its own characteristics and naturalistic differences.

Santa Maria degli Angeli: in its sanctum there is the “Porziuncola”, the famous Chapel where Jesus appeared to San Francesco.

Deruta: a small village where generations of majolica artisans pass on their knowledge and export their handmade painted ceramics all over the world.

Gubbio: it is represented by the symbol of three candles, which are reproduced in the Umbrian Region flag. Each year on the 15thof may the show “Festa dei Ceri” takes place.

Todi: it is known as the most liveable place in the world, it’s a medieval city and its beauty and elegance are almost unique.

Orvieto: the city rise on a tuff hilltop, it overlooks the valley of the Paglia river.

Montefalco: in this place it is produced one of the best sangiovese wines, the most popular wine is the “Sagrantino di Montefalco”.

Bevagna: It is famous for its fine paintings, the village is one of the most beautiful of Italy and it has received the prestigious orange flags from the Italian Touring Club. There takes place wine, food and handmade products exhibitions, besides the town is beautiful during its historic markets. Bevagna is also the set of the fiction “Don Matteo 6”.

Golf Club Antognolla and Golf Club Perugia: they are few km away from the holiday house.
